It's the ninth day of the ninth month of the ninth year in the new millenium.
I must have blinked and missed the end of the world.
Let's hope this new world that I somehow missed the start of is better than our old one.
Maybe there'll even be room for little Common Sense who was orphaned when his dad died.
The youngster has been waiting in the wings for the end of the old world so he can follow in the footsteps of his late great dad.
Let's hope the cancer that eventually killed his late great dad can be sent into remission and eradicated - assuming this is a new world given the old one was supposed to have disappeared down some black hole today.
Common Sense Jnr could start by sending the ivory tower brigade back to their ivory towers with their crazier ideas and re-educating those who have come through the education system without the benefit of getting schooled in the three Rs.
He could send all the politicians, bureaucrats and those who can't tell fact from fiction back to the classroom.
And, of course, he could ensure that the banksters are the first to be sent back to school as their inability to add up has affected the global population.
While they're all back at school, I'll be carrying on trying to raise my own business capital with those I joined a week ago.
