A ban on advertising for alcohol in the UK is now on the cards.
Parents may face a fine for driving their kids' pals around if they haven't been vetted.
And villagers in North East India have picked up shovels and spades to build their own road because they're fed up with two decades of burueacratic delays.
Common Sense Junior really has his work cut out.
Our freedoms are going down the plug hole and no-one seems to be bothered.
Who are these faceless people who decree crazy rules and regulations that they think the rest of us just have to accept.
The Indian villagers got it right and have just taken matters into their own hands.
I think it's time the rest of us did the same.
I want to know who thinks they know better than I do what I should read or watch, eat or drink or associate with.
Smoking is bad for your health.  Well, there's research that says it is and we've had plenty of that.  But where's the research that shows the dangers of giving up if you've smoked for a long time?  And there are a few serious consequences!
Drinking is good in moderation - we all know that.
But where are the warning posters about the toxic chemicals in diet drinks?
And what about the food we're eating. Where are the warnings about the chemicals in that?
And why not warn us about the chemtrails, acid rain or chemicals in our drinking water?
What we get is one-sided propaganda and a ban on anything such as an advertising poster that could gainsay that propaganda or give people the information they need to make their own choices.
And now, some faceless control freak who has contributed to creating this mess, has the temerity to question our integrity and ability to bring up our kids!
Well, I want to know who questions my absolute right to drive my kids and their pals to and from a club or school when it's OK with their parents.
I want to see a face.  I want to know who this person is who dares to try and dictate how I bring up my children or how to live my life.
And I want them vetted. I want their backgrounds checked right down to the pedigree of their grannie's budgie. And I want to know what their IQ is, although even the experts don't know what that actually measures.
Common Sense Junior would say that whoever it is should be sent straight back to their ivory tower. His dad would have reminded whoever these crazy rule makers are that it's unwise to bit the hand that feeds them.
For whoever this is, you can bet your bottom dollar we will be paying their wages.
And as employers we have a right to know everything about them.  So I expect to see the CV of this control freak in the international press sometime soon.
It's coming to something in this global world of ours when people have to build their own roads because the powers that be aren't capable of doing it.  Why pay them?
And the same can be said for our schools. They are there to teach our children to read, write and add up.  Nothing more.  If they concentrated on that then maybe we'd have a literate society that could see the dangerous slope we're now on.
It's time we started asking WHO is making these crazy rules and considering telling them to collect their cards.
They can't do the job they're supposed to do so they're creating a new job for themselves which is telling us all what to do.
Nah.  I'm not having any of it.  The school system won't get my grandchildren and I'll make enough money to live on an island and declare myself a replublic until things change.
That's my plan until Common Sense wins and we collect all these crazies together and stick them on an island where they can happily spend their days controlling each other and giving the rest of us the peace and quiet to enjoy our God given freedom to do what we damn well please.
